Shelby + Rick

This past week & weekend was kind of a whirlwind. Sickness, engagement session, sickness, wedding & wedding. Phew. But out of chaos comes beauty and the sessions with my brides & grooms, were no exception. Let's start with Shelby & Rick! :)

Shelby and Rick got engaged at Rock State Park and decided to include the special spot in their engagement photos. After arriving at the park we learned that the road to get to the rock formations was closed and it was time to hike. Shelby & Rick were great sports with our long uphill hike and the fact that I was way behind due to getting over strep throat and two broken toes. With the obstacles behind us, we managed to make it to the top. I now know why Rick proposed at this location. It is beautiful! But I will let the photos speak to the breathtaking views.

 

These rocks were used as a marriage site for Indians. So the theme of love continues here.

Very excited to share in their big day next fall. I even mentioned to them that their ceremony should take place on top of the rocks, to make their love story go full circle.
